Veterans Memorial

Veterans Memorial

About This Campaign

A place of remembrance and respect will be created for Veterans and their loved ones in Moncus Park. Throughout the planning and design process for the park's master plan, Veterans have been very engaged on many levels, ensuring that this beautiful space will serve the needs of many different types of Veteran events, including memorial ceremonies, military weddings, holiday celebrations, and much more.

While honoring past American conflicts, the space will also honor the present and future of all who continue to serve and protect our families and our freedom.

Please consider giving toward this cause. You can contribute directly toward this Veterans' Memorial Garden by clicking "DONATE" above.

All donations to the Veterans' Memorial, up to $250,000, will be MATCHED by a generous donation from the Hamner Family of the Pinhook Foundation! DOUBLE YOUR DONATION today!

Thank you for your support!

Throughout the master planning process, Veterans and their loved ones advocated for the inclusion of a beautiful tribute to all those who have served our great country in the military.  Many of these Veterans remained very engaged throughout the design and fundraising process, ensuring that the resulting Memorial reflected their wishes for a venue for military-related celebrations and events, that also educated the public about the major American conflicts in history.

Thanks to the generosity of Acadiana Veterans and their families, we are close to our fundraising goal to bring this feature to life in Phase 2 construction, which will begin in 2021.

We hope you'll consider honoring a Veteran in your life at the Memorial to help us reach our goals to construct and maintain this meaningful tribute to those who have sacrificed so much for our freedoms.
