A fundraising campaign for Moncus Park.
About This Campaign
Located in the heart of Lafayette, with gently rolling hills, open meadows, ravines, and stately live oaks, is a 100-acre landscape that is a true gem for all of Acadiana. Formerly known as the “Horse Farm,” Moncus Park is an extraordinary opportunity to create an inspirational park that will be enjoyed by countless citizens and visitors to our region.
In 2005, our community launched a successful campaign to "Save the Horse Farm" from the threat of commercial development. In response, the City of Lafayette purchased it in 2012, preserving it as a beautiful green space for future generations to enjoy.
With input from more than 7,400 individuals over 9 months, community members created a vision for the park's future, filled with natural beauty and fun activities for the whole family.
Join us in our campaign as we spread awareness and raise money to build the community's vision and leave a legacy for future generations.
Your involvement is critical to our success in bringing this park to life. Thank you again for your help.
